Experience volunteering with Greenwood’s PTA! Below you will find details on our current needs.

Silent Auction– Our school hosts a silent auction to raise funds to supplement the work of the PTA. The silent auction this year will be held May 29 at the Gator Gala. A leader for this portion of the event will build a committee and reach out to local businesses and the school community for silent auction items and coordinate the silent auction. Volunteers will serve on the committee and help with set up/break down and picking up all of the silent auction items and cataloging them for the auction.

If you are interested in being a part of the committee, please email Tilly at tillygambill@gmail.com

International Night– Our school community is full of diversity and rich cultures. Help us celebrate this diversity at International Night. A leader for this evening will organize the families and countries represented, work with the school to have the right number of tables set up and get snacks and drinks provided for the evening. Volunteers will help welcome people to the event, work on the marketing and set up/break down, and tickets or work activities if this is part of the evening.

If you are interested in being a part of the committee, please email Tilly at tillygambill@gmail.com

Reflections– Each year, over 300,000 students in Pre-K through Grade 12 create original works of art in response to a student-selected theme. The theme for the 2019-2020 program year is Look Within. Students submit their completed works of art in one or all of the available arts categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, Visual Arts. We are looking for someone to organize the submission of these art pieces and help us make sure parents and teachers are aware of dates and themes.

If you are interested in being a part of the committee, please email Tilly at tillygambill@gmail.com

5th Grade Party- Help our outgoing 5th graders celebrate the Gator Achievements at the 5th Grade Party in June. This party is traditionally held the final week of school and the organizer will work with 5th grade parents to put together a party in the gym with treats/drinks/games, etc. Volunteers will help make this party a success with set up/break down help, replenishing and even donating items.
